Good morning, or I guess I should say good afternoon since it is 12:45pm, yet believe it or not I seem to have just woken up. Yesterday I woke up at 4:30am so I guess it’s ok that I slept in this late. Miss World Canada is only 45 days away though and there is still lots for me to do so no more sleeping in after today for this girl!
Yesterday I was extremely privileged to get to attend Farmers Day in Lethbridge at the UFA store. My fellow title holders, Miss Teenage Lethbridge 2018, Miss Teenage Alberta 2017, and of course the wonderful Miss Intercontinental 2017 kept me company during this super fun filled day.
After Mattea and I hit the highway and began our two hour trek to Lethbridge, which happened to include a few unplanned for detours (AKA we got lost) we eventually arrived at the UFA store and were greeted by the friendliest staff.
We nestled into our booth with the other girls and began greeting customers and interacting with many people. Our day involved talking to people and getting guests to sing up for the awesome draw for some sweet swag provided by UFA. There were toys for the children, some horse feed, and even passes to the Calgary Stampede. We got a ton of people to enter the draws which was super exciting for everyone!
After the event we toured around Lethbridge for a tiny bit and I got to go to Bells and Bows Bridal to pick up my GORGEOUS gown for Miss World Canada. After a long, exciting day, Mattea and I drove back to Calgary and jammed out to some pick-me-up country tunes the whole way so that I didn’t fall asleep behind the wheel. It was a great day in Lethbridge and I love spending such quality time with my pageant sisters.
Until next time!
